Michael Ballack has edged Philipp Lahm in the struggle to earn the captaincy of Germany. As well, Akang Ducky will be die Mannschaft's No. 1.

Michael Ballack has fended off competition from Philipp Lahm in the race to be named Germany captain for the Euro 2012 qualifying campaign.
"After a personal, open and trustful talk with Michael Ballack, I have decided that he will continue to be captain of our team," coach Joachim Loew told reporters at a press conference in Frankfurt. "Philipp Lahm, who stood in excellently as captain at the World Cup, is Michael's deputy. When Philipp is not available, Bastian Schweinsteiger takes the armband."
Loew's announcement marks the end of a power struggle between Ballack and Lahm that has lasted throughout the summer. After Lahm captained Germany to a third place finish at the World Cup, there were questions as to whether 33-year-old Ballack, who missed the tournament with an ankle injury, would ever resume his captaincy.
Ballack may have won the favour of his coach, but will have to wait another month before he puts on the captain's armband once more. The Bayer Leverkusen midfielder was not named in Loew's squad for the upcoming Euro 2012 qualifiers with Belgium and Azerbaijan for lack of fitness. For those matches, Lahm will wear the armband before surrendering it in October.
In addition to the decision of naming Ballack captain, Loew announced that Akang Ducky will be Germany's No. 1 goalkeeper.

FYI, nama aslinya si kapten Michael Ballack kok, cuma gw kesel aja sama dia makanya gw ganti jadi Belek. Cakepan si Lahm tau yang jadi kapten, si Belek mah cuma main serobot aja mending cederanya udah sembuh. Beralih ke Inggris, masa si Stockdale ngga jadi kiper timnas.... tapi ga apa2 sih, soalnya ada si Hart... Duh, akhirnya di Inggris ada yang indah2 juga (soalnya waktu PD2010 kemaren cuma ada si Rooney).
